Areas to improve

  1. Programming professionally vs. programming as a student is a challenge
  2. Dealing with the typical c.s. interview questions when looking for a job
  3. Dedicated equipment and time for students for remote teaching for BU-X students (their own lab section) and really connect with remote students!

Ideas to consider

  1. The more CS students work with other departments -> makes us more important, students helped by integrating, providing tech support to others is good
  2. Computing across curriculum is liked by the advisory board
  3. "take" students to a programming competition
