Each section will have graded work associated with it.
   * A project. With the assignment, the student wis to demonstrate the ability to use that section of the cloud productively. Details about each project will be given in class.
   * A paper and short quiz. Each student will also write a paper explaining the details of that section of the cloud. In addition there will be a short quiz about some specifics of that section. Details will be given in class
      * Or
   * An exam. A section may substitute a full exam instead of the paper and short quiz. Details will be given at the start of the section.

 In addition homework or short quizzes may be assignment throughout the semester. In addition, the following need to be completed during the semester
   a. A reaction to one article in the ACM !TechNews that is related to cloud technology. This is due by Feb. 17th. This is to be a hard copy. The article must not be older than two weeks when you react to it.
   1 A reaction to one article in the Communications of the ACM. that is related to cloud technology. This needs to be completed before the final. It is also to be a hard copy. The article cannot be more than 2 months old when you react to it.

   * Homework, quizzes, etc. are 5% of the final grade.
   * Each section is worth the same percentage with the project being 50% of that second and the paper/quiz (or exam) being the other 50%
   * The cumulative final/paper (to be decided in class) will also be worth the same as section.
   * Grade scale
      * 93% &lt;= average &lt;= 100% -&gt; A
      * 90% &lt;= average &lt; 93% -&gt; A-
      * 87% &lt;= average &lt; 90% -&gt; B+
      * 83% &lt;= average &lt; 87% -&gt; B
      * 80% &lt;= average &lt; 83% -&gt; B-
      * 77% &lt;= average &lt; 80% -&gt; C+
      * 73% &lt;= average &lt; 77% -&gt; C
      * 70% &lt;= average &lt; 73% -&gt; C-
      * 67% &lt;= average &lt; 70% -&gt; D+
      * 63% &lt;= average &lt; 67% -&gt; D
      * 60% &lt;= average &lt; 63% -&gt; D-
