CSC 450 Senior project
Overview
The primary goal of this course is to develop a computer system and to learn what is involved in developing a larger system.
Requirements
- spend at least 135 hours on the project
- get the project approved by the program coordinator (Dr. Bareiss). The actual project can be overseen by other pre-approved folks
- meet with the project supervisor at least 8 times during the term to discuss progress and the next steps
- submit a summary report describing
- what the software does
- what future improvements can be done
- the process of developing the software and what was learned about it
- submit the project to the GitHub Center for Computing repository
Misc
- the project can be a team project (but the size must then be larger)
- it can be done during any term as long as the student can find a project supervisor.
- Grade:
- Excellent job (but always room for improvement): A
- Very good job (but something is lacking): B
- Acceptable job (but does need improvement): C
- others -> don't want to happen
