Acceptable Learning Plan

Components

• Title
• Brief Summary of the Topic. What is the topic and a quick overview of it
• Why this topic was chosen? Including:
  • What is it cutting edge?
  • Why are you interested in it?
  • What do you hope to learn about it?
• Learning Details
  • What type of project is being proposed. Some possible examples might include
    • A comparison of different LLM's
    • Learn how back propagation works in a neural network and implement a simple form
    • In depth analysis of how an LLM works
  • The level of understanding that is being aimed for
• A Starting List of Actual Resources to Use While Learning
  • Specific resources (For example: Wikipedia is not specific enough. You would need to specify which articles). Include the URL.
  • The purpose of that resource (Such as to demonstrate the working of a neural network)
  • If the learning plan includes to creation of a system, what the resource might provide in terms of creating the system
• A tentative time line and list of likely milestones

Comments

• A learning plan is a starting place. Things will likely need to be changed as the learning progresses.
• A learning plan must be approved before enrollment in the course using it. This means that the first draft should be submitted at LEAST 3 weeks before attempting to enroll since it is highly likely it will need to be refined.
