---++Private tutorials are for courses in the catalog.  Independent Studies are for studying material that is not taught in a classroom format.
   * cost:  both cost an extra amount per hour (current $80)
   * both require and drop/add form
   * both must be done in conjunction with a willing professor
---++Private Tutorial
Tutorial Approval Form must be signed by the professor who is agreeing to work with the student, and by the Dean of the School. This form includes: reason
why student cannot take the course in the regular format, meeting times, and the method of evaluation for the course.
---++Independent
Independent Study Guide must be signed by the professor who is agreeing to work with the student, and by the Dean of the School. This form includes: a description of the project, a brief statement of the project requirements, and the method of evaluation. Grade issued is Pass/No Pass.
